| Educational
Psychology Advisory Centre |
|
The school has an Educational Psychology Centre which is available to the parents, pupils and teachers of the Centre. This Centre offers advice to parents and teachers about the best way to educate our pupils. It also produces educational psychology tests for students in first, fourth and sixth year primary education. These tests are used to write reports informing parents and teachers about the general development of the children. The Centre also works with children with Special Schooling Needs: Dyslexia; attention deficit; and Speech therapy. |

Lunches |
| Pupils
who wish to can make use of our lunch service. Pupils are supervised
by teachers and dining room assistants. Pupils learn table manners and
good eating habits. This service includes mid-afternoon snacks for children
in pre-school. |

Opening Hours |
| Our
Centre adapts to the needs of our families. For this reason, the school
opens and 7.30 in the morning and closes at 8 o’clock in the evening.
Parents can choose the time that the pupils arrive and leave according
to their own work schedule. The school remains open every working day
of the year, including July. |

Bus Service |
|
In
order to help students to get to our centre, we offer families a school
bus service with various routes, stopping close to the pupils’
homes so that they do not spend too long on the bus. Routes vary every
year adapting to families’ needs. |

Accident Insurance and Health at School |
| The
Centre has available accident insurance for pupils. Should a child require
urgent medical assistance, he or she will be seen to by a doctor or
at a hospital. Also, at the beginning of each academic year all children
will have a medical carried out by a paediatrician and the school doctor
Dr D. Ricardo Lliso. |
| Uniforms,
Books and Materials |
|
All students wear school uniform or tracksuit for the Physical Education lessons. There is a uniform shop in the school where the school clothing can be purchased. At the beginning of the year students receive all the books they are going to use throughout the academic year. All additional materials needed will be provided by teachers, thereby ensuring that pupils are not prevented from doing their assignments due to lack of materials. |

English
Summer Course |
|
Complejo Educativo Mas Camarena organises intensive English Courses for children who want to increase their knowledge of the language and enjoy themselves at the same time. The English Summer Courses include a range of activities that are especially designed for students to enjoy leisure time and learning during the course. These courses are very necessary for pupils who start at the Centre from the age of 4, and who do not know the language. Pupils who need to also have Spanish support classes and also classes to help them pass subjects that they haven’t passed yet in Secondary and Bachillerato. All activities are run by qualified specialised teachers who follow our line of education. Summer courses are open, which means that they may be attended by pupils from our Centres as well as from different schools who want to enjoy themselves and learn during the holidays. These courses can last 4 or 5 weeks, with the option of spending a whole week at the Centro de Naturaleza Tarihuela (Tarihuela Nature Centre). |
